BASEC To Judge ‘UK Apprentice Electrician Of The Year’ Finals

On 21 and 22 April 2010, Jeremy Hodge, chief executive of the British Approvals Service for Cables (BASEC) will join Tony Cable from the NICEIC to judge the finals of the UK Apprentice Electrician of the Year competition sponsored by SPARKS and Electricfix, in association with the NICEIC.

Conroy Electrical has been in business for more than 20 years and employs a highly skilled and competent workforce. Our primary focus is on installation and maintenance, initially in the paper manufacturing industry, although we also perform work in other areas of industry, having undertaken contracts in the recycling and packaging industries among others.

During that time we have gained invaluable experience in our primary role of providing installation and maintenance services to the paper manufacturing industry. Our reputation for carrying out first class installation work at competitive costs, especially where time is a factor, has allowed the business to develop into other sectors not least because of personal recommendations due to our expertise and profesionalism.

Due to the close relationships we have developed with busy and often under re-sourced engineering departments, we find that our ability to react quickly in emergencies can be crucial to the speedy resolution of a problem. As well as providing an installation/maintenance service that compliments the client's resources and demands which also fits well with the modern manning/budgeting constraints. Particularly so during times of change or short crisis periods of high workload.

Over the years we have managed to attract and maintain a team of qualified electrical craftsmen with experience and capability across the whole range of electrical /electronic installation and maintenance from HV down to PLC. Our employees know that the customer is paramount and they are fully aware of the fact that it is up to Conroy Electrical to maintain a high standard 24 hours a day 7 days a week on every site in what is a very competitive industry.
